Press release from: Excursion to Cova Tallada

Students of a spanish language school discover the beauty of

Valencia. Last Saturday the students of a Spanish language school went on a trip to the Cova Tallada and to Javea. After a one and a half hour drive the students finally reached the “Playa les Rotes” in the little village Denia. The long journey was used by most of the students to practice their Spanish on each other. In Denia the opportunity to take pictures of the village, as well as the beach and the sea was given. Savouring the view and the beauty of the Spanish coast site the group went to the bay. Spanish language schools do not only teach the language, they teach about nature, culture and much more as well.
After a ca 40 minute walk, during which the language students got to know each other better and marveled the Spanish flora and sea the group reached the little cave which lead the way to the water. Surrounded by a beautiful landscape new friendships amongst different nationalities had been founded.
Together they went into the cold water of the bay and swam towards the sea. Occasionally students brought their snorkels and diving goggles which allowed them to witness the unbelievable variety of marine animals and plants. By seeing fish, jellyfish, and even a little stranded wale the students learned new vocabulary and words without even realizing.
Those, who also wanted to see something else went to the “Playa les Rotoe” to enjoy the rays of the sun or to sit down and savour a drink at the adjoined restaurant. The only condition for all was to meet at 5:30 pm again, so that the whole group could go together to Cabo San Antonio. From here the view of the coastal city Javea is marvelous. Who did not have time to take pictures with new found international friends yet, was here given the opportunity to save the moment. It is clear that at the Costa de Valencia the students not only learn the Spanish language, they also learn the different cultures – even outside of the classroom.
Afterwards the group went back home and reached Valencia around 8 pm. Just in time for the soccer fans amongst the group to watch the round of 16 game Germany- Italy in a bar. A perfect international closing for an exciting day at a Spanish language school.

Since 1995 the language school Costa de Valencia has focused on teaching Spanish to non-native speakers. This language school, which is situated in the heart of Valencia, is a Centro Acreditado of the Instituto Cervantes and a member of many associations.
The teaching material, which is used during the lessons, is worked out by a team of well-versed teachers. One of the most important aspects of teaching in this school is the individual involvement of every single student. This way every student has the possibility to speak very much during the language course. Furthermore, both managers place big value the quality of the language lessons and a broadly diversified leisure programme.
