This is especially interesting for hybrid project management, where traditional project plans are executed in an agile, team-oriented environment. Key improvements include support for dynamic JIRA subtasks and so-called “active assignments” for handling JIRA re-assignments in a much more flexible way.

The first new key feature is the support for dynamic JIRA subtasks in onepoint’s activity lists. This means that subtasks created in JIRA can be directly visualized in onepoint’s planning and controlling views without incorporating the subtasks into the project plan, but instead letting them stay “dynamic”. All actual values and “remaining estimates” are also automatically correctly aggregated.

Another important new feature are so-called “active assignments”. Active assignments recognize and visualize dynamic reassignments in JIRA in onepoint’s project plans in order to improve support for status-based JIRA workflows. This ensures that reassignments never get lost and also become better reportable. Again a feature that brings agile and standards-based project management closer together. Additional JIRA-related improvements include the inline visualization of issue IDs in all major activity lists.
