Kickoff for imbus Peja

Peja, 4 July 2016 – Europe grows even closer together at imbus: The leading solution provider for software quality assurance and testing – whose headquarters are located in Moehrendorf, Germany – celebrates the opening of a new near-shore site in Peja (Kosovo) today.

“imbus Peja L.L.C. supports imbus Germany in the field of software development and testing”, explains the managing director of the new imbus site Flurim Kelmendi. The experienced testing expert has been working for imbus Germany for more than eleven years. So he learned the software QA sector from the scratch.
“We witness the continuous growth of imbus. When the executive board introduced plans to build a further site in another country, I immediately thought that Kosovo – my native country – is perfect for this. That’s why I recommended it.” This was followed by intense research studies. Flurim Kelmendi collected the economic factors for starting up a business in Kosovo. The framework conditions were convincing. In autumn 2015, imbus started getting the foundation of the new site underway.
“Kosovo and Germany have the same time zone and the euro as their currency. In addition to that, the highly motivated and qualified professionals are a real advantage”, underlines Flurim Kelmendi. He starts with a team of 13. All of them hold a bachelor in informatics. Many of them will soon take their master degrees alongside their work.
“We chose Peja which is situated about 90 kilometres from the capital Pristina.” The city is located in the mountains in the west of the country. The imbus office is in the centre of Peja.
