Chief of Staff Named for Pittsburgh Airport Terminal Modernization Program

PITTSBURGH - April 18, 2024 - Strategic Analytics, a small, woman-owned business raising industry standards for program management, announces the appointment of Tom Medovitch as Chief of Staff and Director of Strategic Initiatives for the ongoing Pittsburgh International Airport Terminal Modernization Program.

Medovitch assumed his role Jan. 1, 2024, and helps lead the program management team by ensuring strategic program goals are translated into actionable plans and effectively executed as construction progresses on the new terminal facility. He reports to Paul Hoback, Jr., chief development officer for the Allegheny County Airport Authority, and Perfecto Solis, Paslay Group's Executive Program Manager for the TMP. Paslay Group has provided ACAA Executive Program Management services to assist in delivering the program since 2019.

The PIT Transformed development program is scheduled for completion in 2025 and includes a new 811,000 square-foot-terminal facility for consolidated airport operations, ticketing, baggage claim, a meet-and-greet area, expanded security checkpoint with more lanes, and retail and concession options. The program also includes new roadways, a 3,300-space parking garage with technology to guide travelers to the nearest open space, and airfield observation areas.

Medovitch draws upon a strong background in large-scale program management to offer confident leadership while collaborating with stakeholders, cross-functional teams, and external partners to drive program priorities in alignment with ACAA, the airport's owner.
