The Professional Development Program “Intel Teach – Advanced Online” received a very prestigious CSR recognition from the "Initiative Freiheit und Verantwortung" honoring the long term commitment to Education in Germany. Martina Roth, Director Global Education Strategy at Intel Corp. was personally invited to the award ceremony and accepted the recognition on behalf of Intel at an official ceremony in the Palais Bellevue, hosted by the President and Head of State of Germany, Mr. Horst Koehler.

Thomas Osburg, Intel Education Manager EMEA, who submitted the application for the recognition, was happy to see the efforts that Intel puts behind Education in CSR were honored: "This is a great achievement for the program and our team, at Intel and at the ALP in Dillingen, who developed the content" confirmed Osburg. "We consider Education a significant pillar of our CSR efforts and our longstanding committment to the societies we operate in" he added.

Since 2001, the Initiative „Freiheit und Verantwortung“ hands the prestigious award to companies who documented outstanding responsibility for the community and society.

The Initiative „Freiheit und Verantwortung“ is a non-profit collaboration of employers association which has the goal to raise the awareness for collaboration between the public and the private sectors and to build bridges between companies and social groups. The Initiative is under the patronage of the President of Germany.
