First-Ever IE FEST Offers Inland Empire Food and Fun for a Great Cause
The fundraising festival, which will take place August 6, 2016 from 4 p.m. to 11 p.m. at Cable Airport in Upland, will include:
*Food vendors from Tapa That, Jojo's Grill-a-Dog, and Hitch 'n' Post among others.
*Beverage vendors from Kings Brewing Company, 7 Bangkok Craft Brewing, Scooter's Italian Ice and more.
*Entertainment by 35 Black, DJ Fish, and live broadcasting from KGGI.
*Opportunities to win a Jeep Renegade, a "fat tire" bike, and other items.
All IE FEST proceeds will benefit Project Boon, an Inland Empire-based health and wellness nonprofit. Project Boon operates events locally and internationally that unite those in need, those willing to help, and the resources that make a difference. Its yearly Eat & Be Well gathering in San Bernardino County supports the underserved during Thanksgiving.
Chris Suchanek, executive director of Project Boon, says, "We are so excited to bring together the Inland Empire community with the first-ever IE Fest. Beyond the tremendous impact we expect the proceeds to make, it's going to be a lot of fun."
IE Fest's steering committee includes interactive marketing company, Firm Media; Cowboy Burgers & BBQ; Brain Balance Achievement Center in Corona; and Inland Empire ShineOn.com. Additional sponsors are welcome to participate.
Tickets are now available online at IEFest.com, and event organizers are also giving away free admission through random drawings on Facebook. General admission and VIP tickets (which offer private access to food and beverage) may also be available for purchase on-site until the event sells out.
Project Boon, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, operates events that bring together those in need, those willing to help, and the resources that make a difference.
