With a focus on female DJs of color, this event aims to highlight their contributions, creativity, and trailblazing spirit in the music industry.
Attendees can expect an immersive experience filled with pulsating beats, networking opportunities, and inspiring conversations. From live DJ sets to interactive showcases, this event promises to be a dynamic celebration of talent, passion, and entrepreneurship.
Shanice Wilson, the multi-talented singer-songwriter known for hits like "I Love Your Smile," will be making a special appearance at the event. Fans will have the opportunity to meet Shanice, purchase her latest line of "Smile by Shanice."
"We are thrilled to host this Business Shower event in honor of female DJs of color," said KaNisa Alberto, event organizer. The 2024 honorees for the Uplift Innovator Awards include Trena Lawson, of the Trena Lawson Group, Rhonda Love of DreamKreator Studios, and Prince Michael Jett of YackShack Media. A sneak peak of a min-doc by Emmy award winning Ebony Jones will be shown as well.
