Celebrating Female DJ's of Color: Business Shower Event in Burbank, California
The Business Shower event is not just a celebration but a platform for recognizing and uplifting the diverse voices within the DJ community. Two female Dj's launching their business will be uplifted. With a focus on female DJs of color, this event aims to highlight their contributions, creativity, and trailblazing spirit in the music industry.
Attendees can expect an immersive experience filled with pulsating beats, networking opportunities, and inspiring conversations. From live DJ sets to interactive showcases, this event promises to be a dynamic celebration of talent, passion, and entrepreneurship.
Shanice Wilson, the multi-talented singer-songwriter known for hits like "I Love Your Smile," will be making a special appearance at the event. Fans will have the opportunity to meet Shanice, purchase her latest line of "Smile by Shanice."

A special ceremony awarding pillars in our community who have demonstrated a commitment to uplifting women in color in the area of entrepreneurship will be held. The 2024 honorees for the Uplift Innovator Awards include Trena Lawson, of the Trena Lawson Group, Rhonda Love of DreamKreator Studios, and Prince Michael Jett of YackShack Media. A sneak peak of a min-doc by Emmy award winning Ebony Jones will be shown as well.
The Business Shower event will take place at Mihran K Studios in Burbank, California. Attendees are encouraged to come enjoy some light bites and enjoy the vibe.
