Brazilian Afrofuturist author Ale Santos elevates the literary genre to new frontiers in his country

Ale Santos, one of the most prominent Afrofuturist authors of the new generation in Brazil, is ready to launch his unique and powerful vision of science fiction and Afro-Brazilian culture to the world. Internationally recognized for his ability to blend science fiction with elements of the rich African cultural heritage, Santos is determined to transcend geographical and cultural boundaries to bring his narratives to new audiences worldwide.
Cited by the Science Fiction Research Association (SFRA) as the most popular Afrofuturist author of the new generation in Brazil and by the NY Times as one of the genre's leading figures in Latin America, Ale Santos has garnered acclaim both nationally and internationally. His works explore themes of afrocentricity, ancestry, resistance, and imaginative futures, pushing the boundaries of what is possible while prompting readers to rethink existing social structures.

Santos has been a finalist for the prestigious Jabuti award on two occasions, as well as a standout at the CCXP Awards.
