About the Author
Zalina was born in Guyana, South America, where she grew up. She has been living in Canada for the past thirty-six years with her husband and two children. She is retired from her job at MITT (Manitoba Institute of Trades and Technology). Zalina is now an empty nester and finds that she has a lot of time on her hands to dabble in what she loves best - writing. Scattered Tamarind Seeds is her first collection of poems. Zalina lives in Winnipeg, Manitoba, with her husband and is working on her second collection of poems.
