BNP Paribas AMC wins “Asset Management Company of the Year” Award

BNP Paribas Mutual Fund which is one of the profitable fund houses in India has been awarded as ‘The Asset Management Company of the Year, India’ by Hong Kong’s The Asset Magazine, under its ‘The Asset Triple A Investment Awards 2016’ on June 7, 2016.

The Asset Management is a renowned magazine which tracks and covers the Financial Industry of Asia. The awards were announced to recognize the contribution of the AMC’s to the progress of Indian Financial Markets. This award acknowledges BNP Paribas’s wide-ranged offerings for its investors and recognizes its comprehensive performance for the year ended December, 2015.

During the period the AUM grew by Rs. 1,200 crores, which is equivalent to 30.9%, jump from previous year. BNP Paribas Government Securities Fund (G) which is managed by Fund Manager, Mr. Puneet Pal fared better than other funds in the category, recording a substantial growth of 385.05% in one year. The company’s flagship, BNP Paribas Equity Fund (G) grew by a record 632 crores, achieving growth of 112.92% year ending.

Such high growth is a result of consistent increase in the number of accounts under BNP Paribas and the thoughtful leadership of Mr. Anand Shah, CIO and Mr. Shreyash Devalkar, Fund Manager of BNP Paribas AMC.
