Ubisense - New VP Marketing - Company sees strong traction in Manufacturing and Logistics markets

Charles added “I am excited to be joining the company at such a pivotal time in its development. Ubisense has recently launched a next generation product and we are now seeing significant growth in the manufacturing and logistics markets. Following on from our recent announcements with Marshall Solutions (aerospace production) in the UK and NCR (automotive production) in the US, we shall be announcing further strategic partnerships with key players in the manufacturing and logistics automation markets throughout 2008.”

Charles joins Ubisense from Motorola, where he was director of Product Marketing for Motorola Mobile Devices’ Future Wireless Products division. Charles was responsible for 3GPP LTE market strategy, Chipset product roadmap and Licensing P&L.
Before joining Motorola, Charles held various roles in business development and IP licensing (Europe, USA, Japan and Asia Pacific), product management and technical leadership in semiconductors and mobile devices for GSM, Bluetooth and Wireless LAN at TTPCom PLC. He is the author of more than ten papers and books on wireless communications.
