Press release from: ThinOptics

/ PR Agency: Konnect
PALO ALTO, CA (May 10, 2016) – ThinOPTICS, the innovative, stem-less eyewear company, has responded to growing consumer demands by partnering with Target for nationwide distribution of its inventive “stick anywhere, go everywhere” reading glasses. Catering to users’ mobile dependence, ThinOPTICS will now be available in Target stores across the country. Target will be carrying ThinOPTICS’ Jet Black reading glasses, which come in an ultra-thin protective pod that easily attaches to hard surfaces or mobile devices with the use of an included adhesive. The reading glasses can be purchased in three strengths: Low Range (+1.50D), Mid Range (+2.00D) and High Range (+2.50D).

ThinOPTICS can be seamlessly stored on the back of mobile phones, or inside wallets, purses and pockets because of its ingenious design that makes it as thin as two credit cards and less than the weight of a nickel. The result of two years of innovation and over 200 prototypes, ThinOPTICS glasses have no stems, but instead rest securely and comfortably on the bridge of the nose using flex-grip technology. The reading glasses are made with polycarbonate frames and bullet-proof lenses, ensuring a product that lasts a lifetime. ThinOPTICS backs up the most durable reading glasses in the market with a “free replacement forever” policy.

“Our expansion into Target signifies that ThinOPTICS is truly filling an unmet need in the market and we are excited to witness the growth in such an esteemed retailer,” said David Chute, General Manager of Retail for ThinOPTICS. “We hope that our presence in Target will inspire further innovations in the reading glasses category and provide consumers more user-friendly options.”

The glasses and ultra-thin Universal Pod case retail for $19.95 at Target stores nationwide. For more information on ThinOPTICS, please visit www.thinoptics.com.

ThinOPTICS entered the market in 2014 and was launched by a passionate team who believes that reading glasses users should be able to access their glasses at any given time. After 200 prototypes and countless trials, the ThinOPTICS team created the “stick anywhere, go everywhere” reading glasses that are as thin as two credit cards, weigh less than a nickel and easily attach to phones or can be slipped into a wallet, purse or pockets. The ThinOPTICS reading glasses, which currently come in a Universal Pod as well as Apple and Samsung Cases, are available on the company’s website, Target, Amazon, Bed Bath & Beyond, Best Buy, Safeway and select CVS locations throughout the U.S. ThinOPTICS was recently named “Best in Class – Iconic Design” by Inc., “Best of CES 2015” by PCWorld and has been featured on CBS News Sunday Morning, Yahoo! Tech, FOX News, Real Simple, Refinery29 and more. For additional information on ThinOPTICS, please visit www.thinoptics.com.
