TruckSuvidha Winner of Future of India Awards

TruckSuvidha, an online marketplace for transporters announced as the Winner of Future of India Awards. It was awarded for the “Business Excellence in Geographical Growth” by Future of India. Mr Ishu Bansal, co-founder of TruckSuvidha has attended the ceremony and received the award on behalf of TruckSuvidha.
Future of India Awards-Voice of Entrepreneurs was organized by 1000 Petals in association with CNBC TV18 as Media Partner. Future of India is an event organised for recognizing the entrepreneurs who struggled in their life, with different walks of life. This unique competition aims at recognising inspirational and exceptional entrepreneurs and shared their stories with the world.
The award ceremony was held at Hotel Lalit Ashok Bangalore on April 30, 2016.The enthralling awards function began with a welcome performance, immediately followed by the lighting of the lamp by the partners and the chief guest Shri R V Deshapande, Hon’ble Minister for large & medium scale industries & tourism, Govt. of Karnataka, after which Shri R V Deshapande shared his insights with the crowd. He also discussed about the power of the Karnataka state, especially the city of Bangalore, being the reason for growth of various business domains. He also mentioned about businesses having a vision that could be passed on to future generations, rather than having just a goal that could be achieved within few years’ time. The event was also graced by Shri Sudhakar Pai - Chairman & Managing Director of Kurlon Enterprise Limited, renowned Indian film actresses - Pooja Gandhi and Ragini Dwivedi, Venu Madhav - Director at the chain of India’s most popular coffee shop brand Cafe Coffee Day.
The event was so wonderful and well organised by Mr. Manoj P Kudtharkar and team at Future of India Awards. More than 4000 passionate business entrepreneur applied for this event. Out of 4000 applicants, 69 Entrepreneurs across India were choosen and awarded for excellent Business Performances. Mr. Ishu Bansal, co-founder of TruckSuvidha was awarded for business excellence. Other awardees are Ayesha Singh from Creative Kidz, Keshav Bansal - Intex Technologies, Pradeep Gowda - 1000Yoga, Dr. Srimathy Kesan - Space Kidz India, Byju - Think & Learn Pvt Limited (BYJU’s), Rohini Mundra - intelligence Pvt Limited and many more.

Ishu Bansal is a software engineer by profession. His vision is to make the use of technology to uplift the society led to this venture. He founded TruckSuvidha in partnership with Amit Punaini in 2014. Amit Punaini is a businessman by profession who is always passionate about new ventures.

The main idea is simple yet unique. In the era of e-commerce websites when people can book almost everything online ranging from a movie ticket to an airplane seat, why isn’t it possible to book a truck online? The logistics industry is vast with all the required resources but still the demand is not being met. We plan to act as the bridge between the customer and the transporter as we faced a lot of trouble while booking a truck online for our business. This was the driving force behind this venture.

TruckSuvidha is an online platform connecting transporters, industries, logistics & truck drivers for the timely and effective communication. It aims to optimize usage of trucks as well as provide businesses and customers with information and services on transportation. It is founded by Ishu Bansal and Amit Punaini to help all the entities to boost their business with a single click of a mouse. With a few clicks user can register as a customer, transporter or packer and mover. The customer can choose the city, date, material, weight and truck type as per their choice and book a vehicle for transportation. The transporters can list their entire catalogue of vehicles available.
