There was a strong response to the new Mink MV claw vacuum pumps at the Busch trade show stand at Powtech 2016

There was a strong response to the new Mink MV claw vacuum pump from Busch at POWTECH 2016 in Nuremberg. This new series is the result of continuous further development of vacuum claw technology, which has become the industry standard for pneumatic suction conveying in the food industry, for material feed during plastic processing, and for powder and granulate conveying in the chemical and pharmaceutical industries.

Visitors facing the question of energy efficiency in their operations were surprised that this technology has reduced energy requirements even further when compared to all other vacuum technologies. Busch also demonstrated at its trade show stand that a vacuum generator with reduced energy requirements is just one step towards achieving the greatest possible energy savings. Generally speaking, the vacuum pump should not be viewed in isolation; instead, the entire process needs to be thoroughly examined from the point of view of energy. The operating mode and control system of the conveying system vacuum supply have an enormous influence on its energy efficiency. Having a demand-based control system with a frequency-controlled motor can generate high savings potential. In addition to reducing energy requirements, engineers from Busch were able to design the new generation of Mink claw vacuum pumps so that it is even quieter and more compact.

Furthermore, visitors to the Busch trade show stand were able to find out more about Busch's large product portfolio, which includes ideal solutions in the areas of vacuum and overpressure technology for practically any industrial application, from pneumatic conveying, degassing and drying processes, through to packaging, moulding or coating. Those customers in particular who work with potentially explosive materials and in environments where explosion is a risk found the issue of "explosion protection" to be especially relevant. Busch offers both Mink claw vacuum pumps and R 5 rotary vane vacuum pumps with various ATEX certifications for dust and gasses/vapours.
