The George Hotel and the Gastwerk Hotel Hamburg receive GreenSign certificate

Hamburg, January 2024: The Gastwerk Hotel Hamburg as well as The George Hotel are making their contribution to more sustainable travel, work and living for a better tomorrow, and impress with their diverse measures for environmentally conscious, resource-saving hotel operations. Both hotels have now demonstrated their high level of commitment in an audit lasting several hours by the GreenSign Institute and have been successfully awarded Level 4.
The hotel managers are very pleased with the outstanding GreenSign result: "We had already established many aspects that are or were relevant for the certification in our company before working with GreenSign. However, registering for certification encouraged us to document existing values and facts sustainably and to motivate the entire team to participate. The result shows that it was successful, which we are extremely proud of," says Ms. Tina Schulz, General Manager of the Gastwerk Hotel Hamburg. "The communication at eye level within the team on the topic of sustainability, as well as the ongoing interest in tackling and advancing sustainability together, fills me with pride and has brought the team closer together.
