Russell Bedford Malaysian firm appoints head of new Japanese services division

Russell Bedford LC & Company (RBLC), the Malaysian member firm of worldwide accounting group Russell Bedford International, has appointed Yoshiyuki Kato as the managing director of its newly established Japanese Services division.

Yoshiyuki Kato was a senior director in the Japanese Services Group of a Big-4 firm in Malaysia. He has over 17 years of professional experience, eight of which have been spent in Malaysia. His prior experience also includes senior positions held in Osaka, Japan, where he provided a wide range of advisory and professional services focusing on international operations.

Having managed a client portfolio comprising some of the largest Japanese organisations, Yoshiyuki’s invaluable expertise in Malaysian accounting, tax and other local regulations is highly sought after amongst the Japanese organisations operating in Malaysia. He speaks regularly on various business, tax and regulatory related topics for the Japanese business community in Malaysia.

Yoshiyuki graduated from Kwansei Gakuin University, Japan, and is also a member of the Japanese Institute of CPAs.
