Ireland’s World Kickboxing Champion Brings 30-Day Fitness Challenge to New York

Ireland’s World Kickboxing Champion Noel Tierney is bringing his sensational 30-Day Fitness Challenge to the Celtic Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu gym on McLean Avenue, Yonkers, NY, beginning May 2nd, 2016. For $400, clients will train everyday for 30 days, receive a full fitness assessment before and after the Challenge, and a nutrition plan to be applied throughout the Challenge and into the future. Through a series of cardio, combat, strength and conditioning workouts, clients will gain lean muscle and reduce their overall body fat.

Tierney opened Fit-2-Function, a full-service, state-of-the-art fitness studio in Northern Ireland in 2010. As a certified personal trainer, sports therapist and current Northern Ireland Full and Light Contact kickboxing champion, Tierney carries a large client portfolio of successful weight-loss and physical transformations. Tierney anticipates bringing the 30-Day Challenge across the United States, after its inaugural launch in New York.

Noel Tierney
Noel is a combined Personal Trainer and Sports Therapist/Practitioner. His passion and interest in fitness derives from a boxing and kick-boxing background. Together competing at National and Inter- National level, Noel has achieved many sporting accolades and continues to do so as the current Northern Ireland Full and Light Contact Champion, National Full and Light Contact Champion and Celtic Full Contact Champion. Noel has also won a World Light Contact Title in 2010.

From his experiences, Noel decided to pursue this interest as a career sharing his wealth of knowledge with clients. He has great attention to detail and uses this in order to maximize client results within realistic timescales. Noel believes in making training challenging and varied, yet enjoyable whilst instilling confidence in his clients to achieve better results faster.

Arlene Maguire
Arlene is a qualified Personal Trainer and Kettlebell Instructor. She has enjoyed participating in sport and exercise from early childhood. Arlene pursued this interest from an academic perspective having attained a degree in Sports and Exercise Science, graduating with First Class Honors. To keep herself in good health, Arlene plays amateur football for her club and plays an active role in management and coaching of underage teams.

Arlene loves working with people of all abilities and levels and strives to ensure that each client leaves their personal training session and classes feeling strong, positive and energised.
