NEST at the Zdravoochranenije in Moscow
Within the scope of the project StrokeNet a telemedicine system was developed, which allows by transmitting vitality functions, monitoring data, picture and sound between mobile intensive care units and a hospital with a specialised stroke unit, to use the expertise of stroke specialists for the immediate treatment. Several ambulance cars in Berlin are already successfully using this system.
Within the project ALS-Manager an internet platform is developed, which allows observed pharmaceutical studies on the basis of telemedicine support for the patients in domestic surrounding or while travelling.
The network will be presented at the fair through Charité – Universitätsmedizin Berlin and TimeKontor AG. It is possible to schedule meetings in advance to the Zdravoochranenije. Please contact Ms. Carius-Düssel under zdravo(at)nest-telemedizin.de .

The Network for Integrated Systems in Telemedicine – NEST – is a collaboration of 27 private companies, research and medical institutions from the Berlin-Brandenburg region. Objective is to support the network partners in development and marketing of their products, systems and methods in the field of ehealth / telemedicine. The activities are focused on emergency medical aid, home care, standardization and clinical studies. NEST is supported within the programme Network-Management-East (NEMO) of the Federal Ministry of Economy and Technology. TimeKontor is respronsible for the network management.
