Earn While You Learn With Access Training Apprenticeships
Access Training offer apprenticeships to students of all ages
This scheme is a superb alternative to the traditional apprenticeship route. It's faster, enabling you to obtain a Level 1 City & Guilds Health & Safety certification in your chosen trade after just two days of training webinars.
From there, another one-day webinar will help prepare you for the CSCS card exam. The Construction Skills Certification Scheme card is a standard requirement for working on a construction site.
After you have your CSCS card, Access Training will set you up with an interview for one of over 300 labourer/site work opportunities throughout the UK - and we also give you a two-day induction webinar to prepare you for on-site work. Then you're ready to start earning!
Being an Access Apprentice means starting with the standard labourer roles, including site maintenance, setup, and clearance - but duties will obviously vary depending on site location and the job at hand.
This is an 'earn while you learn' programme, so while you're gaining valuable work experience on the job, you'll also be completing one of our plumbing, gas or electrical courses and working your way towards becoming a fully-qualified tradesperson.
The starting wage for an Access Apprentice ranges from £10.65 to £14.00 per hour. Salary will vary between jobs and site locations, but this is a great start to your professional career as a plumber, electrician, or gas engineer.
