Capitelli & Wicker is proud to announce that Brian Capitelli was inaugurated as President of the New Orleans chapter of the Federal Bar Association in August.
After 20 years of legal experience, including as both a private litigator and a federal prosecutor, Brian has distinguished himself as an authority on white collar investigations and prosecutions, and as a leading member of the New Orleans legal community.
He was inaugurated as President at the Chapter's Annual Meeting that was held on August 23, 2023 at The InterContinental Hotel.
The New Orleans Chapter of the Federal Bar Association is celebrating their 103rd year in 2023. As the largest chapter in the national organization, the Chapter offers its members opportunities to make professional contacts and provide each other with continuing legal education. The Chapter is also active in the New Orleans community, advancing social, philanthropic, and pro bono causes as well as non-partisan advocacy on behalf of the federal judiciary and practitioner.
Brian shares these values with the New Orleans FBA, and is passionate about sharing his experience in criminal law and trial procedure to educate others in the legal profession. He has taught several classes, including trial advocacy at the Tulane School of Law and the Paul M. Hebert Law Center at LSU.
