New Delhi, 20th November 2007--Comverse, a subsidiary of Comverse Technology, Inc. and the world's leading supplier of software and systems enabling network-based multimedia enhanced communication and billing services, today announced that Brazilian telecommunications provider, Sercomtel, has launched the Comverse Real-Time Billing Solution (RTBS) for its GSM and fixed line subscribers.
Control on spending has become a paramount concern for both our commercial and residential subscribers,” said Wanderley Rezende Neiva, Network Director of Sercomtel. “The Comverse solution provides us with a real-time view of prepaid subscribers’ activity, enabling effective credit control. At the same time, we use that information to respond with an immediate and personalized marketing approach to encourage service uptake.”
