Aggregion Will Launch a Project in Kyrgyzstan to Integrate

On 12 February 2016, Aggregion’s General Director Nukri Basharuli visited Kyrgyzstan on an invitation from the Government and the Ministry of Education of that country. During his visit, he met with Kyrgyzstan’s Deputy Education Minister and other high-ranking officials in charge of education technology, as well as with specialists involved with acquisition and use of digital content.
Key topics for discussion included possible use of Aggregion’s processing capabilities with support from Microsoft and Intel for managing content at the republican level. Mr. Basharuli made a particular emphasis on the fact that Aggregion supports a multitude of content formats, such as digital literature, audio and video files and application software.
In particular, Aggregion’s CEO demonstrated how the country could get access to popular Microsoft applications used by millions world over and still achieve significant savings. The updated new version of the platform offers unlimited access to the world’s leading software maker’s products on a pay-as-you-go basis, with only the time the software is actually used being paid for.
Mr. Basharuli informed his counterparts of the opportunities Aggregion offers for getting access to digital educational content from the world’s leading publishers. This solution could help the republic achieve substantial savings paying for digital library services as well as create a single venue for accessing electronic literature from the world’s largest publishers. In addition to that, the platform offers a comprehensive suite of on demand statistical tools for collecting and analyzing data on the use of different types of licensed content by a variety of users.
The parties reached a preliminary understanding on integrating Aggregion’s platform with Kyrgyzstan’s education and science system and on its implementation at government organizations and state-supported institutions. Microsoft and Intel had already confirmed their participation in this initiative.
The project will be initially launched in Bishkek, to expand to the entire territory of the republic at a later time. It is expected that all of Kyrgyzstan’s government agencies and state-supported institutions that use digital content, applications and multimedia in their work will be eventually connected to Aggregion. These will not only include schools and universities, but also organizations that work with any kind of documentation and use word processors, photo editors, spreadsheets, presentation software and other special purpose packages.
The pay-as-you-go model offered by Aggregion could help the country achieve savings of up to 60% by paying only for the time any such software is actually used rather than for a blanket license for a number of months or years. Improving the efficiency of the country’s budget expenditures is certain to help Kyrgyzstan develop and implement additional projects in a variety of areas, bring the national education system to a qualitatively new level and allow government agencies to achieve substantial productivity gains.
