THE NEW EXPERIENCE OF MOBILITY IS READY FOR A TEST DRIVE – UNITI UNVEILS THE KEPLER POD AT CEBIT 2016

Uniti’s unique vision will be unveiled to sweep some tech minds at CeBIT in Hannover, Germany, when the Swedish startup will publicly release its first piece of hardware, making a statement for user experience and disruptive technology in automotive.
The Kepler Pod 1.0 iteration is a single piece of hardware that hosts the entire user experience, from driving the car to media consumption. The prototype will be available for user testing, including a virtual reality test-drive and different interior design options in photorealistic 3D. TeamUniti presents a much more engaging way to operate a vehicle, without buttons, only swipe surfaces, and a flat panel in the central front. Handles allow full control of the vehicle as they move in unison, always remaining parallel as the user guides the car. “Plastic dashboards are boring, it’s time for something new” says Lewis Horne, CEO.
TeamUniti will be available for everyone who is interested in learning more about Uniti and the KeplerPod. The prototype cockpit is accessible for testing at the Uniti stand D50 (13) in hall 011 on Monday, March 14, and Tuesday, March 15.
Uniti is an electric city car that aims for holistic sustainability, and a futuristic user experience. It is developed in Sweden in an open source manner.
