15 Years COMPACT DYNAMICS GmbH – the innovation leader in the development of lightweight, high-performance electric drives

2015 Compact Dynamics celebrates the 15th anniversary with an Innovation Day on October 8th.

Since foundation in 2000, Compact Dynamics worked hard for a well-known name within the engineering branch. Notable German OEM and Tier1 firms use to fall back on the skills of the Starnberg based design company, wherever there is a need for highly dynamic and compact innovation solutions in e-mobility.

Frequently pre-development units need Compact Dynamics to prove technical concepts based on first specifications and have those concepts later designed, produced and validated on the inhouse test benches.

The focus of Compact Dynamics is the automotive sector, especially motorsports, as Compact Dynamics belongs to the most renowned racing suppliers. Developments of Compact Dynamics are also found in aviation, commercial vehicles and industry.

Since 2010, Semikron International AG from Nuremberg is shareholder of Compact Dynamics GmbH. More than 70 people are employed in Starnberg at the company's headquarters.

To mark the 15th anniversary Compact Dynamics organizes an Innovation Day on 08 October 2015, to demonstrate various skills in form of lectures and actual development samples.
Following the Innovation Day, a vernissage will open the art show "Technik im Antlitz, der menschliche Blick" of Johannes Hofbauer and Alessandro Serafini at the premises of Compact Dynamics.

Compact Dynamics will also be present at the 2015 eCarTec fair with innovative drive solutions.

Compact Dynamics designs compact electric drives with power electronics and control. Our developments can be found in motorsports, aerospace and in hybrid drive systems. About our work:

The high-performance electric drives designed by Compact Dynamics are characterized by extremely high power density and low weight. For example, a racing solution provides a maximum torque of 85 Nm with a power-to-weight-ratio of approximately 9.4 kW / kg. A comparable solution for electric aviation provides a maximum torque of 88 Nm at a maximum power-to-weight-ratio of 9.5 kW / kg.
