Canvas by Canvas is a group of 11 strong women with diverse backgrounds who take a vision of a painting as a whole, break it in to 9 pieces and each piece is painted by an individual artist. Then the 9 individual pieces are brought back together to make the complete painting. This unique talent is displayed as one piece of art and promoted by the group as a whole. This unusual collaborative process demonstrates a departure from solo works and creates beautiful art that showcases their individual and collective talents. Their friendship and strength lies in the unity and the bond that their art kinship has created.
