Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 3: Where to Find NPCs to Hire

NPCs have been around in Fortnite for more than two years, so it's safe to say they're here to stay-unless Epic Games comes up with another gimmick or two that could vault it. Each season allows players to meet new Fortnite characters with new dialogue lines, services, and items to buy from them. Chapter 4 Season 3 is no different. There are 16 NPCS players with Fortnite accounts can meet, each offering all sorts of good that could help you claim that elusive Victory Royale. This guide will show you how to hire each recruitable NPC and where to find them.

As stated before, there are 16 characters to find on the island. Here's a complete list of where they're located and what type of service they offer:

You probably noticed that there aren't as many characters compared to previous seasons, especially when you think back to the 46 NPCs available in Chapter 2 Season 6. Nevertheless, we're confident that Epic Games will add more characters in the future, considering that the current season is still well underway. For now, most of these characters will provide you with useful items, such as ammo or med kits. Scout Specialists can also mark enemies near your area whenever the Storm Phase triggers.

A New Boss is In Town

Aside from the NPCs, there are bosses on the map for this season, Highcard. He tends to flip-flop at different locations, including Secluded Spire and The Citadel, so you won't always find him in the same spot. Should you defeat Highcard and his goons, he'll drop a Mythic Weapon: Highcard's Havoc Suppressed Assault Rifle. Plus, you'll get a Vault Keycard to get you and your party into one of the Vaults where he usually spawns.

Another boss added to the game (thanks to the v25/10 update) is Wildguard Relik, who you can find in the jungle biome in Rumble Ruins. If you take him down, he'll drop the Mythic Relik MK-Alpha Assault Rifle and Mythic Relik Cloak Gauntlets. Both are top-notch items anyone would want in their loadout for sure.

How to Hire NPCs in Fortnite

When you've decided which character to recruit to your party, it's time to visit their location and approach them. Hiring an NPC in Fortnite isn't cheap; it'll cost you between 100- to 200 Gold Bars, depending on who you choose. You can only get Gold Bars by playing multiple Fortnite matches-not buying them through the Fortnite Item Shop.

Here's a step-by-step process on how to hire an NPC:

● Approach the NPC.
● Interact with the NPC to start the dialogue.
● Select the 'Hire NPC' option on the dialogue wheel's right side.
● Once you've selected 'Hire NPC,' the character will follow and fight for you for the whole duration of the match.
