At 38, Mehdi Fereydounfar, a celebrated Iranian musician, has been residing in Germany for the past three years. His musical journey began at Mani Rahnama's music school in 2006, where he studied singing and picked up guitar skills to augment his vocal talents. "I've always been on a quest to discover my unique voice, instead of merely replicating others," Mehdi recalls. Alongside, he honed his composition skills and sang as a baritone in numerous choirs.

In 2011, he embarked on a journey of setting music to esteemed Persian poetry, written by distinguished Iranian poets such as Ahmad Shamloo, Freydoon Moshiri, and Hossein Panahi.

A decade later, he continues his professional music journey, recently crafting melodies for the poetry of Hossein Monzavi and Rumi. "My choice for composing has always been profound poetry, even if it might not cater to mainstream taste," Mehdi often echoes. His compositions span across different locations worldwide, adding a unique touch to numerous singers' repertoires.

During his illustrious career, Mehdi has released two albums, "Picking Apples" and "Your Love." These albums have found a home on various international music platforms, garnering over a million streams. But that's not all!
