FITCO (Federal India Trading Company) exhibited Systech Illinois’ range of gas analysis instruments for the plastics industry including their Headspace (MAP) Gas Analysers and Permeation Gas Analysers. Held every three years, the Plastindia exhibitions are now acknowledged as a huge global event. This year’s exhibition showcased the very latest in technology, innovation, processes, products, responsible plastics management, recycling together with a whole host of related aspects of plastics.

This 9th edition of Plastindia was held from 5th to 10th February at a new exhibition venue in Gandhinagar, India. This move to a new location has allowed for an extra 23 exhibition spaces. This six-day plastics industry trade show featured 2,000 exhibitors from 40 countries and regions. According to the show’s organiser, close to 200,000 visitors attended this year. Subhash Kadakia, president of the Mumbai-based Plastindia Foundation, was quoted saying, “Plastindia 2015 has surpassed all our expectations. The footfall was higher than at Pragati Maidan in New Delhi. Besides India, the show saw participation from companies in U.K., France, Austria, Germany, Netherlands, China, Taiwan and Korea.”

Mehul P.Javeri from FITCO was extremely pleased with the visitors they received on the stand stating; “Plastindia 2015 was well attended this year. We were pleased to see that the majority of discussions revolved around the exceptional quality barrier testing analysers from Systech Illinois particularly the leading 8000 oxygen and 7000 water vapour analysis product lines. As well as the permeation analysis instruments there was great interest in the headspace MAP gas analysers.”
