Board complete: Kai Ricke, COO of MyTicket AG

The longstanding head of distribution of STAGE Entertainment transfers as second member of the Board to the DEAG subsidiary myticket.de

Berlin, February 26, 2015 – DEAG Deutsche Entertainment Aktiengesellschaft (ISIN DE000A0Z23G6) continues to expand its direct distribution platform myticket.de:

Kai Ricke (49) becomes a new member of the Executive Board of Hamburg-based myticket.de. As an excellent distribution pro in the entertainment industry, he has been appointed by the Supervisory Board of Myticket AG, a subsidiary of DEAG Deutsche Entertainment AG, as Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Myticket AG. With his wealth of experience of almost 20 years, more particularly in the field of family entertainment, he will now accompany, together with CEO Moritz Schwenkow, the growth of DEAG’s new ticket distribution platform.

The platform myticket.de, which was only set up in November 2014, has already had an excellent start during the 2014 Christmas business and has continued its positive development during the past weeks. The ticket sales so far handled through myticket.de are significantly ahead of plan. Additional potential for the further development of myticket.de is offered by the planned integration of partners with strong media networks in the near future.

Kai Ricke worked in the past as authorized officer and Sales Director with Ticket Online, he was Managing Director of Ticket Online Austria and most recently longstanding Distribution Director of the musical group STAGE Entertainment. He knows both the potential of live entertainment and the subtleties of the ticketing business and is, moreover, excellently networked on the market.
