Dibandingkan dengan negara-negara Asia lainnya seperti Cina dan Vietnam, makan es krim di rumah bukanlah kegiatan umum di kalangan orang Indonesia. Namun, peningkatan konsumsi disaksikan di segmen es krim kemasan terutama melalui ritel internet. Jumlah total pengguna internet di Indonesia diperkirakan akan tumbuh dari ~ 119 juta pada tahun 2020 menjadi ~ 150 juta pada akhir tahun 2023 sehingga mendukung penjualan digital dalam jangka panjang. Di sisi lain, situasi lockdown nasional dalam waktu dekat diperkirakan akan mengurangi kunjungan pelanggan ke toko serba ada offline dan jaringan hypermarket/supermarket sehingga menyebabkan penurunan penjualan.

Produsen Es Krim seperti Aice Group Holdings akan terus meluncurkan berbagai varian produk baru yang juga akan sesuai dengan kebutuhan harga terjangkau konsumen Indonesia yang sensitif terhadap harga. Perseroan tampak positif dalam melakukan ekspansi dengan mendirikan pabrikke-3 di wilayah Sumatera di tengah efek pandemi.
