The book is based on Elena's 17 years of experience homeschooling her own children. "There is so much available for the homeschooling family, and this book helps parents see what's possible," said Elena.
Elena's book comes at a critical time when many families are seeking alternatives to traditional schooling due to concerns about academic performance and the impact of the pandemic on their children's education. According to recent reports, 93 percent of students in Baltimore city schools tested below grade level in math in third to eighth grades.
