OKW with two convincing appearances at exhibitions
The exhibition stands at the electronica in Munich and the COMPAMED in Düsseldorf were well attended.
The first appearance was at the electronica in Munich from 11.11.-14.11.2014. At the world's leading exhibition for electronic components, systems, services and applications, numerous companies present their products, innovations and solutions that are used for the development, quality control, care and maintenance of electronic components, equipment and machinery. All in all, more than 73,000 visitors from over 80 countries came to the electronica exhibition, with foreign visitors accounting for 50%.
The second exhibition that OKW took part in was the COMPAMED in Düsseldorf from 12.-14.11.2014. With more than 700 exhibitors from almost 40 countries, it is the leading international trade fair for components, preliminary products and raw materials for the medical supplier industry and product development. The COMPAMED took place at the same time as the world's largest medical technology trade fair MEDICA, thus showing the approximately 130,000 visitors the entire process chain for medical products. Foreign visitors accounted for approx. 65%.
Besides the innovative range of standard enclosures and tuning knobs, OKW also showed the numerous visitors the individual processing options that are available at customers' request. Among other things, the new SYNERGY range of enclosures was presented, a range in which for the first time OKW combines aluminium with plastic in one single enclosure concept. OKW's team of experts was available for the entire duration of the exhibition to provide visitors with help and advice. The exhibition stands at the electronica in Munich and the COMPAMED in Düsseldorf were well attended, and thus many new contacts were made. The high proportion of international visitors led to an enormous increase in contacts with foreign visitors at both exhibitions compared to last year.
The core competences of OKW Gehäusesysteme are the development and distribution of solution-oriented plastic enclosures and tuning knobs.
