(St. Petersburg, Florida, April 5, 2023)--Homeowner Claims Help LLC (HCH), a Florida-licensed public adjusting and insurance dispute appraising firm, announced last week that Monika Smolarczyk, the senior leader from UPC Insurance, joined their team as the Senior Vice President of Marketing and Human Resources.
 
"We are excited to share the news of our team expansion. After more than a year in a consulting capacity, Monika is joining our team on a permanent basis. She brings a vast corporate and insurance experience that will help expand our services and grow our team and partnerships," said Daniel "Jay" Jama, the company's Founder and Principal Adjuster.

Having experience on the insurance side, allows me to more effectively help policyholders in their time of need," Smolarczyk stated.
 
Smolarczyk worked as the Vice President of Marketing at one of the largest property and liability insurance companies, UPC Insurance. She led all aspects of marketing and built a high-performing team from the ground up. Smolarczyk also developed and managed a Licensing department, and closely partnered with the Claims and Legal departments. She rebranded UPC Insurance, supporting rapid growth and geographic expansion to 12 states.

Smolarczyk earned a Master's degree from Northwestern University, and her corporate experience spans 14 verticals, from construction and logistics to hospitality and technology.
 
Jama, the Founder and Principal Adjuster (PCLS, CPAU, licensed PA in FL, GA, SC, NC, IL, MI, InterNACHI, and OSHA certified), started the HCH more than a decade ago to assist homeowners through the complex, and often frustrating claims process.
 
After more than a year of close collaboration, Jama and Smolarczyk are joining forces to further accelerate the growth of HCH, help homeowners, and make a difference in the industry. In response to rapidly changing market demands and state law regulations, HCH will expand the appraisal (including both appraising and umpiring), expert witness, and estimate writing services. The goal is to create comprehensive support for public adjusters, attorneys, and other industry professionals, representing policyholders. HCH is dedicated to helping homeowners in their time of need by assisting them through every step of the claims process.
