Fossil Gate Farms’ Stallion FG Ambassador Wins Top Honor at National Halter Championship
World-class North Texas horse farm adds another prestigious titleARGYLE, Texas – Fossil Gate Farms is proud to announce that FG Ambassador has won the top National Championship honor for 2-year-old stallions at the recent National Halter Championship in Des Moines, Iowa.
FG Ambassador was sired by Fossil Gate’s Im Tee Totally Cool, and his dam is RS Skip Clue. The stunning colt is full brother to FG Versace, a Fossil Gate Farms Reserve World Champion stallion that displayed much potential but died tragically when a tornado struck the farm in 2010.
“This beautiful colt is showing so much promise, and he really demonstrated what he’s capable of at this world-class competition,” says Fossil Gate Farms’ Linda Gordon. “We’re very excited about what the future holds for FG Ambassador.”
Located in Argyle, Texas, Fossil Gate Farms is one of the premier breeders of show-quality Paints and Quarter Horses. Operated by quarter horse veterans Gary and Linda Gordon, Fossil Gate Farms has produced numerous world class stallions and hosts buyers and breeders from around the world. Approximately 100 horses are kept on 150 acres of immaculate pipe-fenced pastures and paddocks. Visitors find the show barn and mare motel neat, comfortable and busy. Fossil Gate Farms emphasizes a hands-on approach to showing and selling horses, and there is always an excellent selection of horses for sale.
