The International Pathfinder Camporees Know How to Party Like

"Blessed are the rock stars, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven," is what was witnessed at the 2023 International Pathfinder Camporee, an event sponsored by the South American Division of Seventh-day Adventists. The celebration is called "Camporees Immortals" and is considered to be the "greatest camporee of all time." This "mega camporee" is currently taking place from February 19-22, 2023, at the Pernambuco Adventist Teaching Institute in Saire, Brazil.

"Camporees" are the biggest events for the Pathfinder and Adventurer clubs anywhere in the world. This event is supposed to help Seventh-day Adventist youth develop a closer relationship with God, but as you can see in a video that was published, the youth are definitely partying like rock stars with the motorcycle stunt shows, rap competitions, thrilling pyrotechnic displays, contemporary musical concerts, shouting "Immortal" and even puppets that invoke the name of the Lord.

Why are our church leaders so obsessed with having the hippest and most fashionable youth ministry programs? Why are they so determined to operate their church functions like nightclubs, secular music festivals, and party venues? Why are they attempting to be the most well-known form of thrill-seeking entertainment? We have pastors who are using every worldly technique imaginable to increase their audience and gather as many followers as possible. They are literally treating church events as if they were entertainment shows.

"Some are not satisfied with a meeting unless they have a powerful and happy time. They work for this and get up an excitement of feeling. But the influence of such meetings is not beneficial. When the happy flight of feeling is gone they sink lower than before the meeting because their happiness did not come from the right source" (Last Day Events, p. 160).

Ellen G. White's Warning and Its Fulfillment in Worldly Adventist Academies
Ellen G. White's Warning and Its Fulfillment in Worldly Adventist Academies
On December 16, 2025, the Seventh-day Adventist Academy in Pulierranghy, India, held a Christmas program that featured numerous Santa Clauses, played by students and faculty. [1] The students jumped, shouted, and danced to loud music, while the staff on stage moved in a manner reminiscent of pure paganism. Ellen G. White issued one of her most solemn end-time warnings-one that speaks to many of our institutions. Referring to a bedlam of

On Sunday, January 18, 2026, Giovanni Caccamo, a Seventh-day Adventist pastor, publicly embraced Roman Catholic Bishop Antonio Napolioni during an ecumenical worship service commemorating the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity. The gesture symbolized a visible unity between the Seventh-day Adventist Church and the Roman Catholic Church in Italy within a formal ecumenical setting. Giovanni Caccamo is the same Adventist pastor who previously signed the Ecumenical Charter-a document affirming faith

Pope Leo XIV to Ecumenical Leaders: "We Are One, Let's Make It Visible"
Ecumenism is indeed fulfilling prophecy-but not the prophecy God calls His people to advance or embrace. The world is being drawn into a single religious and political body, as revealed by Scripture: "And all the world wondered after the beast" (Revelation 13:3). This is not a revival of godliness; it is universal apostasy-a global movement that, under the appearance of unity, peace, and love, is leading people away from Bible

What is now evident is that the initiative to establish Sunday as a uniform day of rest is much further along than initially thought. The president of the Heritage Foundation, Kevin Roberts, has already actively participated in formal public policy discussions related to the document "Saving America by Saving the Family: A Foundation for the Next 250 Years" with members of the U.S. Congress and the Trump administration. A Dancing Jesus Appeared at the 2023 Texas Conference Camporee
At the recent Texas Conference 2023 Camporee, which was held at Lake Whitney Ranch in Clifton, Texas, our Seventh-day Adventist youth enjoyed a performance that featured a dancing Jesus. Jesus was seen dancing with a young girl and apparently showing her the beauty of creation. Jesus dances and spins the girl around as they survey the wonders of the earth. Suddenly, Satan appears on the scene and spins the girl
Pathfinder Camporee After-Party: What the Church Doesn't Want You to See
The biggest and most exciting dance parties within Adventism are hosted by the Seventh-day Adventist Pathfinder Camporees. In a published video, you will see Adventist youth from 51 different countries dance the night away to music by Bob Marley and others at an international Pathfinder Camporee after-party. These Pathfinder after-parties, however, are never featured in our official church publications or media. It's no wonder why. These after-parties, which take place

The Guyana Conference of Seventh-day Adventists Youth Ministries Department hosted its 2023 Pathfinder and Masterguide Camporee on July 19-23, 2023. "Call rebellion by its right name, and apostasy by its right name … And if men and women who have the knowledge of the truth are so far separated from their great Leader, that they will take the great leader of apostasy, and name him Christ our Righteousness, it is because they have not sunk the shaft deep into the mines of truth. Something Strange is Happening at Seventh-day Adventist Youth Events
The 2023 Youth Camporee at Immanuel Adventist Academy in the Philippines just recently ended. Unfortunately, a lot of these Adventist youth programs encourage questionable and harmful behaviors. Many of the activities that happen in our youth ministries resemble secular and worldly events. It appears as though our youth leaders are looking to our broken culture to learn how we might try to imitate it. In our attempt to provide entertainment,
