Liberté Clothing's First Catalog Produces Business And

Burke, VA – September 28, 2007 – On October 13, 2007 Liberté celebrates the success of its first catalog with a highly anticipated event at TT Reynold’s in Fairfax, VA. Killing two birds with one stone, the event both showcases the catalog and raises funds for the threatened TT’s. “TT Reynold’s is so vital to the local music scene and the artists of Liberté’s local music sponsorships. Not only that, but as patrons of this Fairfax staple, we’re personally invested in its success,” says Director of Public Relations Maggie Cameron.

Popular local acts Politicks, Everyone But Pete and Jefferson Third agreed to play the event, and Pictures in Pieces front man Stephen Lucas agreed to a rare opening acoustic set. Cameron insists, “We couldn’t be happier with the line-up; I’d have to say it’s my dream local show!”

In August, Liberté Clothing released its first catalog to a choice selection of independent retailers along the east coast. Featured within are Liberté’s most popular designs alongside many new additions. “Liberté clothing conveys a certain attitude and promotes a lifestyle and we were looking for similarities in the shops we approached,” states CEO and President Josh Toth.

Toth immediately hit the eastern seaboard promoting Liberté in boutiques, maintaining a travel journal that appeared on Liberté’s website. Liberté, the upstart clothing company based in Northern Virginia is pushing beyond its online customer base. “The website customer base is growing by leaps and bounds and the catalog will attract additional new customers for our independent clothing line with an attitude,” says Toth. Indeed many of Liberté’s loyal customers are repeat online shoppers that come from California to Georgia. While Liberté began as a local clothing company, it has proved that it is ready to make the leap to the national market. Toth confesses, “The catalog proved instrumental in putting Liberté on the shelves in two major cities.”

Indeed Liberté’s signature graphic and unique designs will soon be appearing on the shelves of Decade Boutique in Pittsburgh, PA and Gruv Clothing in West Palm Beach, FL. “Both Decade and Gruv are a perfect fit for Liberté and we are so excited about this opportunity to provide them quality, exclusive clothing for their customers,” Toth declares.

To assist the push of the new catalog, Liberté has recently wrapped production on a set of commercials that are scheduled to air on MTV and E! Entertainment through Cox cable television. Many local models are featured in the commercials that have an inspirational tone to them. The commercials not only promote Liberté Clothing, but also its slogan “Free to Speak, Free to Wear.”

After opening its doors on January 17th, 2006, Liberté has doubled its sales and retained a devoted local following. Liberté has grown from a small t-shirt company to a popular apparel line with endeavors in both philanthropic activities and local music sponsorship. Liberté provides unique clothing with a vintage look and feel while also incorporating the fundamentals of freedom and equality around the world. The showroom, located in Burke, VA, has a boutique atmosphere while also housing all onsite printing and design services. Liberté is also available for custom design and group orders.
