McKool Smith Principals Earn Spots Among America’s Top Lawyers
DALLAS – McKool Smith co-founder Mike McKool Jr. and firm principal Samuel F. Baxter are being honored among the Lawdragon 500 Leading Lawyers in America. This marks the second year that both have earned spots on the listing of the country’s top attorneys.Among all practicing U.S. attorneys, less than one-tenth of one percent were included in the Lawdragon 500. Those earning selection to the list include private lawyers from a wide range of practices, as well as in-house counsel, law professors, judges, government attorneys and public interest lawyers.
To select this prestigious group, Lawdragon’s editorial staff conducted extensive national research, including interviewing thousands of legal professionals to identify the country’s best lawyers.
In addition to Mr. McKool and Mr. Baxter earning spots on the Lawdragon 500, firm principals Doug Cawley, Lewis T. LeClair and Robert M. Manley were finalists for the honor and were named to the Lawdragon 3000.
This most recent honor caps an impressive month for Mr. McKool, who was profiled in a cover story in Texas Super Lawyers magazine, and was named among the Top 100 attorneys in Texas in the Super Lawyers listing published in Texas Monthly magazine.
