ThermoTx Introduces New Mobile Stimulation (TENS) Product Line for On the Go Therapy and Pain Relief
Power pain away with ThermoTx therapy braces.
Irvine, Calif. --September 24, 2007-- ThermoTx™, a fast-growing medical appliance manufacturer, will be premiering their innovative line of FDA approved ThermoSTIM™ braces at the upcoming American Academy of Family Physicians 2007 Scientific Assembly. This year’s assembly is October 3-6, 2007, at McCormick Place Convention Center in Chicago.
The braces combine modalities of hot or cold therapy with a muscle stimulation/TENS unit. ThermoSTIM therapy products treat the symptoms of pain and swelling while concurrently rehabilitating muscles.
The innovative design gives patients the freedom to resume day-to-day activities while continuing rehabilitation therapy outside their doctor’s office, physical therapist’s clinic or athletic training room. ThermoSTIM therapy products are a proven and effective method to treat athletic, automobile, industrial and everyday acute and chronic muscular-skeletal injuries.
ThermoSTIM braces were developed in partnership with Dr. Henry Chang, a practicing anesthesiologist and interventional pain specialist with over 30 years experience. “Through years of pain management experience we created these products to give patients an effective solution for pain management and treatment of muscular-skeletal injuries. By combining the modalities of Electrical Muscle Stimulation (EMS) and TENS with hot or cold therapies we provide an easy solution to synergistically treat injuries for faster healing and recovery,” stated Dr. Chang.
The ThermoSTIM braces will be available for purchase at ThermoTx’s trade show booth #255 and via the company’s website www.thermotx.com. MSRP’s are $325 for the knee brace and $375 for the S/M back brace and $385 for the L/XL back brace. Other area-specific brace designs will be available in Q1 2008.
