heat 11 at the ADIPEC 2014
The ADIPEC is the largest event of the oil and gas industry outside the USA. More than 51.000 visitors, 5.000 conference participants and 1.300 exhibitors have made the ADIPEC to an important trade meeting. “With the participation in the ADIPEC we combine the opportunity to strengthen our contacts in the Gulf region and to establish new contacts.” said Dr. Dietmar Hunold, general manager of technology and new markets at heat 11. According to the company a crude oil tank farm heating had already been delivered to Saudi Arabia. Another plant for Iraq is currently underway. “In order to pump the viscous crude oil from the tanks into ships for transport it must be heated up first.” reports Hunold. For this purpose, thermo oil pipes will be installed on the tanks. The oil contained therein will be heated in a heating system equipped with a fired heater and be transported to the tanks by means of pumps. The scope of supply of heat 11 comprises, according to the company, the turn-key heating system as well as the pumps and – on request – also the entire piping installation.
The offer of heat 11 encompasses also treatment plants for natural gas: “The natural gas required in gas power plants often comes with very high pressure from the production facilities.” explains Hunold. “Before it can be used in the gas turbine for the production of electricity it must be thermally processed.” For this case of application, heat 11 delivers special gas pressure reducing stations as well as heaters that dehumidify and temper the gas before it can be used in the power plant.
Support on the exhibition is given by the distribution partner ANKO having its own sales office in Dubai (United Arab Emirates).
