Humanizing newsletter for Los Angeles encourages positivity
CuratedLA just launched its newsletter this past week. The newsletter, which is ran on the same technology as the popular business newsletter, Morning Brew, humanizes individuals and the community within the Los Angeles Metro Area.
CuratedLA is a free service, though it does provide sponsorships, for those wanting to post daily events, uplifting news, articles of interests and even Los Angeles trivia.
Most importantly, however, CuratedLA features a story of a resident that lives in the Los Angeles Metro area to showcase that we all have similarities than that of differences.
Wyatt Stephens, the founder of CuratedLA, has over six years of experience within the community-newsletter realm.
'When I lived in South Carolina, I brought a platform to our community called, 'ShareGVL.' It saw a lot of growth, and in knowing how our modern times needs media content to promote health of mind, I thought it would be a great idea to incorporate this same concept for Los Angeles,' Stephens stated.
In fact, CuratedLA has already seen growth, averaging 200 new subscribers daily.
'This growth in subscribers is a key testament to how our community of Los Angeles wants to humanize others, in our backyards,' Stephens said.
'Some of those folks are people within walking distance, and I hope to encourage others to get out, to walk and meet neighbors, by sharing their stories on this digital platform,' Stephens added.
