Vintage Art Collectors Market - Rare Antique Item Of The Day - Rolls Royce Replica Paper Weight (Spirit of Ecstasy / Flying Lady )

Vintage Art Collectors Market - Rare Antique Item Of The Day - Rolls Royce Replica Paper Weight (Spirit of Ecstasy / Flying Lady )

Are You (Avidly) Searching for a Rare Little Statue for your (Rather Imposing and Highly Expansive) Professional Consulting Desk ? Or Perhaps a Quirky Little (Birthday) Gift , (or 'Peace-Offering') , for Your (Highly Demanding) Office Boss ? Or even , maybe , a Unique Old Piece for your (Brand New) Domestic Hideaway of a Mancave ; which is secretly located within the Secluded Evergreen Copse of your Extremely Enchanting (Herb) Garden ?

Look No Further. Help is at Hand. Call Off the Search. Your (Very Serious) Problem is (hopefully) just about to be (Affordably) Solved.

This particular Vintage Collectors Item recently caught our Eye ; primarily because it is Larger (and Heavier) than the one which would usually go onto the Bonnet of a Typical RR (Rolls Royce) Car.

For The Record : Please remember that this is a Contemporary Artist's Impression of the Iconic RR (Rolls Royce) Emblem / Mascot / Badge.

It is not , by any Stretch of Imagination , an Original Rolls Royce Product - as it is a Desktop Ornament (Paper-Weight) which is far too heavy to safely be attached to the Front of any (Self-Respecting) Motor Vehicle.

It's Artistic Dimensions are as Follows :

Total Ornament Height : 6 inches (Flying Lady + Base).

Base Width : 5 inches.

Base Length / Depth : 3 inches.

Base Height : 1 inch.

Flying Lady Width at Base : 1 inch.

Flying Lady Width at Wings : 3 inches.

Flying Lady Height : 5 inches.

In Our Opinion - This is a Very Rare Sculptural Specimen of Exquisite Metallurgical Craftsmanship , which could proudly Stand Tall on any (Posh) Administrator's Desk.

We personally think that it is Exceedingly Beautiful (although some Learned Critics may RESOLUTELY Differ).

It is Used (and in Very Good Condition) - albeit with a few little (age-related) speckles , here and there.

We provisionally understand that it is Many Decades Old - with a Highly Mysterious (and Extremely Opaque) Provenance about it.

Apparently, as the Legend Goes : A (Thankfully Deceased and Frightfully Brutal) Cockney Mobster , from the East End of London City , repeatedly used it as some sort of (Impromptu) 'Skull - Cracker'.

It is an Excellent (Side Piece) Ornament for the Imposing Desk of any (Self-Respecting) CEO (Chief Executive Officer) - who does not care to be Different.

We actually find it to be Quite Classy , (without concurrently being Too Flashy) , as it does not appear to have been intended to be an Exact Replica of the Iconic RR Emblem.

It is Made of Metal (Probably some sort of Alloy like Steel , or so).

What You will (Therefore) Get is this (Highly Unique) Metal Statue , of a Rolls Royce Flying (Kneeling) Lady , on a Unique Metal Base.

To Date : I have never ever seen such a Statue which Endlessly Draws such a Wide Range of Diverse (and Divisive) Opinions.

Is She Pretty ?

Or is She Ugly ?

Is She 'Elegant , Angelic , and Chic' ?

Or is She 'Cheap, Dull , and Tacky' ?

Is She an Artistic Epitome of Sculptural Grace?

Or is She (merely just) a (Total) Creative Travesty (of the Most Ghastly Imaginary Proportions) ?

That , (Our Dears) , is for a New (Delightful) Owner (and Company ) to (Diligently) Ruminate Over.

The Artwork is currently available for sale via https://www.ebay.co.uk/usr/ailments (as at the Middle of January 2023).

Part of the Proceeds and Profits , (from this Sale) , are automatically routed to a Charitable Cause ; via eBay.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION :
