Quantum leap in high-speed online printing with "HP Indigo 10000 Digital Press"

Neustadt an der Aisch, Germany – Quantum leap in printing applications for digital printing: The online print shop http://www.onlineprinters.com is among Europe's first online print service providers making print orders for flyers, stationery, posters and business cards possible within shortest possible production periods using the innovative "HP Indigo 10000 Digital Press".

The new digital printing applications are ideally integrated in the production workflow thanks to the design of a self-contained new printing, cutting and dispatch station. The amount invested in the newly developed production line is roughly EUR 2 million. The centrepiece is the sheet-fed printing press "HP Indigo 10000 Digital Press" on which sheets up to a maximum size of 75 x 53 cm have been printed since May 2014.

"We are the first online print shop in Germany that can offer digitally printed products up to a format of DIN A2 with the quality characteristics of classical offset printing", explains Heiko Wiederer, product manager of Onlineprinters GmbH. The innovative digital sheet-fed printing press "HP Indigo 10000 Digital Press" now allows numerous new printing applications. Flexibility when realising customer requirements, high production and delivery speed and meeting the increasing demand for small print runs at advantageous prices is only possible with continuous investments in state-of-the-art printing presses and efficient production technologies. "The new 'HP Indigo 10000 Digital Press' provides us with the capacity for over two million sheets of printing volume per month. This enables us to realise non-stop printing production in the online print shop thus providing us with the necessary flexibility and speed for our strong growth in Europe", Mr Wiederer explains happily with regards to the new high-performance digital printing press at Onlineprinters GmbH.

Over 25 of these digital printing presses by HP Indigo, which were awarded the "InterTech Technology Award" for extraordinary innovations in 2013, are currently operating in Europe. Onlineprinters GmbH, which calls the Nuremberg metropolitan area its home and produces printings for all of Europe there, was the first online print shop in Germany to commission the digital sheet-fed printing press. A large part of the digital and large format printing (LFP) orders is processed in the online print shop in accelerated production time. Also classical printed products, such as standard flyers, posters, stationery, business cards or inserts, can be produced on the same working day of order receipt using the same day printing option, and are shipped to customers in 30 European countries the same day.
