MIDWEST POP ROCK BAND POMEROY SIGNS WITH MLC PR

Los Angeles, CA (September 19, 2007)— MLC PR announced that Kansas City, Missouri-based indie pop rock band Pomeroy has signed on for their services. The merging of these five undeniable talents is what makes up the inventive group: David Fairbanks (vocals and percussion), Matt Marron (guitar and vocals), Chris Davis (drums), Tyson Leslie (keyboards), and Dean Hopkins (bass).

As an experienced, ten-year act, Pomeroy has put their fingers on the pulse of the Midwest music scene. Their music has been influenced by a perfect blend of musicians who have made a huge impact on the music world: Maroon 5, Jamiroquai, Stevie Wonder, The Roots, Incubus, Frank Zappa, and A Tribe Called Quest. Their continual touring has created a devoted fan base that follows the group from city to city to catch a glimpse of one of their shows. Pomeroy’s next goal is to conquer the entire United States – giving every listening ear a hint of who Pomeroy is, and introducing them to their imaginative music.

Now, Pomeroy has taken the next big step in their career and hired MLC PR in preparation of their 30-city tour throughout October and November. Their fall tour kicks off October 12, 2007in Des Moines, Iowa.

On October 9, 2007, Pomeroy fans will get what they have been waiting for-- the fifth album released by the band titled, “A New Reflection” will hit stores. The record is being described as “an introspective [lyrical] journey of themes from redemption to spiritual warfare. Musically, it rocks with layered guitars, big drums, deep pockets, and beautiful melodies.” The album will be available through iTunes and will be carried in major music stores across the United States.
