German photographer receives gold award at New York Photography Awards
The 61 jurors of the New York Photography Awards, together with the International Awards Associate (IAA), annually identify and honor the best photographers from more than 50 participating countries. The jurors rate on a scale of 1-100, based on the following criteria.
- Originality (uniqueness of concept / expression of theme)
- Creativity / story / mood
- Technical execution (composition, color, lighting, exposure and focus)
- Marketability / newsworthiness / topicality / potential social impact
- Overall impression / Wow! Factor / Memorability
On Dec. 16, 2022, photo artist Kristian Liebrand from Germany received the Gold Award in the category "Fine Art N u d e s - Professional" for his work "paradise n u d e " The work is characterized by a unique creativity. Because it is an elaborately produced creation of photography and body painting - both made by the artist himself. The artist thus shows in an expressive way how beautiful, but above all aesthetic, the art of body photography can be. The vivid colors stand out from the otherwise often monochrome nudes and, according to the international jury, make it a masterpiece of contemporary photography.
"This award is a great honor and of course also very lucky to have been selected among the many great photo artists," Kristian Liebrand is pleased to say.
With more than 60 international awards for his photographic art, Kristian Liebrand is now one of the world's most awarded and well-known photographers in the field of artistic boudoir photography.
