xCon Partners enters into strategic cooperation with Vuzix – focus on industrial wearable computing applications for Smart Glasses

Bremen, 02/18/2014 – xCon Partners GmbH, a leading consulting and industrial wearable computing solu-tion company, announced today that it officially entered a strategic long-term cooperation with Vuzix Corpo-ration (OTCQB: VUZI), a leading supplier of Video Eyewear and Smart Glasses. xCon Partners will be an official Value Added Reseller (VAR) and launch partner of the Vuzix M100 Smart Glasses device for the European Market. xCon Partners will develop industrial wearable computing applications for Vuzix’ Smart Glasses flagship model M100 and will support industry customers during application deployment, mainte-nance and support. xPick, an innovative multi-order picking solution by xCon Partners, has already been successfully implemented on the new M100 device, attracting numerous interested companies from differ-ent industries.

xCon Partners expands its expertise and hardware portfolio in the field of Wearable Computing and Head Mounted Displays with Vuzix’ new Smart Glass flagship M100. The new device is the world’s first commercially available hands free display and wearable computer with cloud communications. It comes with a light design, on-board processing unit, video camera, voice recognition, and gesture control. Furthermore, it provides the necessary ergonomical design and battery duration to be used during an entire working shift.
