EgoSecure acquires FinallySecure by SECUDE

Ettlingen, 13.02.2014.- German endpoint security specialist EgoSecure acquires the full disk encryption business FinallySecure brand of SECUDE AG, a Swiss software manufacturer. This bold move establishes EgoSecure as a "one-stop shopping" offering which includes all key components of the solution portfolio allowing extreme flexibility and response to new user requirements. For SECUDE, the Spinoff is a logical step in focusing on the strategy to develop innovative security solutions for SAP environments.

This acquisition of the disk encryption business creates a classical win-win situation for both EgoSecure and SECUDE as well as the two companies' large customer base.

"Keeping best interest of our FinallySecure customer base in mind, divesting of FinallySecure was not an easy decision. Terms of the deal are not disclosed.

All additional information on how the solution will be integrated with the EgoSecure product portfolio is provided on the occasion of CeBIT in Hanover, starting on March 10, 2014, in Hall 12, booth C39.
