Overview
AMCI’s RD750 resolver feedback option module (http://bit.ly/1eemWj8) plugs into Allen-Bradley’s PowerFlex 750-Series variable frequency drives using Rockwell Automation licensed technology. Onboard DIP switches make the RD750 field configurable and it is programmed using Rockwell Automation software. The RD750 resolver module is designed for customers with resolver-equipped motors that upgrade to Rockwell Automation’s PowerFlex 750 drives, but want to keep their existing motors. This option eliminates the need to replace resolver-equipped motors when upgrading to PowerFlex 750 drives.

Highlights
AMCI’s RD750 provides a variety of diagnostic data using two bi-color LEDs. Critical information such as card-to-drive communication, card-to-resolver connection, and parameter faults are all provided visually to optimize performance and simplify troubleshooting. In total over sixteen different status reports are available. Additionally, the RD750’s resolver settings are field configurable using onboard DIP switches to simplify set-up & installation.

Compatibility
Utilizing advanced resolver to digital conversion technology, the RD750 can interface with a wide variety of transmitter & control transformer type resolvers, including those from AMCI, Moog, and Tamagawa, as well as many others. The RD750 plugs into all Rockwell Automation PowerFlex 750 drives like factory I/O. The RD750 module is compatible with Rockwell Automation Studio 5000 Logix Designer, DriveTools SP, and CCW software.
