ENTIRETEC CAMPUS WLAN ENABLES FIRST-TIME USER-ORIENTED EVENT PORTAL ON THE MOBILE DEVICES OF THE TEAMS, PARTNERS, GUESTS AND FANS AT THE E.ON IBU WORLD CUP BIATHLON 2014 IN ANTHOLZ

During the E.ON IBU World Cup Biathlon hosted January 16th–19th,, 2014 in Antholz, technology supplier ENTIRETEC provides a professional WLAN environment with HotSpot solution in the Südtirol Arena. The underlying multi-service platform as well as the user-related access to internet & Services open up new marketing and customer retention models for sports marketer through highly targeted content delivery.

During the four days competition in the Südtirol Arena up to 60,000 fans, athletes, media representatives, sponsors, partners and employees will use their smart phones and tablets for information retrieval as well as for holding and sharing of content. This high user density and the enormous demand for bandwidth can only be provided very limited by Carrier Services.

The enterprise LAN and Wireless LAN with microcells provided by ENTIRETEC enables a dynamic bandwidth management and the transfer of vast data in real time. The innovative CLT-Core Layer Technology® serves as a multi-service platform for a central management of local solutions and Internet services.

To enter this Virtual Event Campus, the user logs on via a Landing Page. Due to user profiles (e.g. guest, VIP, team member, press representatives, sponsor, partner) and a corresponding highly secure identity management, it is possible to address the user individually and to provide targeted information.

Through CLT, live tracking of individual competitions, broadcasting of race timings and placements, images, live streams or runner tracking as well as interactive user participation and second screen scenarios are conceivable. Other features like social media connections, ticketing systems, Apps or Mobile Advertisement can be integrated easily.
