Architectural Highlights in Valencia/Spain - Photo Workshop

Very few cities offer such a surprising architecture and so strongly marked contrasts – Gothic cathedrals, mediaeval towers and art-nouveau buildings next to ultra-futuristic buildings - in Valencia you will have the impression to travel into past and future with only one single look.Founded by the Romans 2000 years ago, Valencia provides many historical monuments and spectacular photographic motifs – palaces and city gates, a silk merchants’ market of the Middle Ages, a principal market and railway station housed in handsome art-nouveau buildings and a mixture of historical and strikingly new bridges as well as a futuristic cultural complex. After a disastrous flood in 1957, the river Turia was diverted and a new area developped into parks, sports fields and constructions of four stunning, futuristic buildings dedicated to the Arts and Sciences by the Valencian architect Santiago Calatrava. For mayor Barberá of Valencia this complex is 'the symbol of 21st century' ', photographers all over the world are invited to take most exceptional images. From 10th – 14th April, 2014 the photographic tour is offered to amateurs by the German operator 'click fototours', Bonn/Germany. Two professional lecturers will accompany, give guidance and advice for optimal day and night shots. The workshop is meant for beginners as well as for advanced amateurs of digital photography and is considered to be a course ‘on site' in terms of 'learning by doing'. It will also include accomodation with breakfast at a 4-star-hotel and workshop fee. The journey to/from Valencia has to be organized individually.

It is the aim of ‘click fototours’, Bonn/Germany, to teach their participants an individual image structure which will be analysed and realized under professional photographic assistance. Workshops are equally suitable for beginners who want to get to know their camera well and for advanced amateurs of photography who wish to extend their photographic know-how.In a small group (six to ten persons) they will be attended intensively, will exchange their photographic experiences with eachother and share their enjoyment in photography. All tours are offered in German and English.
