Performance after only 50 trading days
On November 11, 2013, after only 50 trading days, Leading-Invest’s selection already showed its capabilities: the ten stocks, achieved a mean performance of +11%. Compared to the respective stock indices, six of the ten stocks performed much better than the index, the others barely below. The all the records beating DAX achieved 'only' +9% within the same time.
The portfolio’s current top performer is Sixt from SDAX, with a spectacular plus of 31% within this brief period, followed by Continental from DAX with a respectable gain of 20%. The third top stock is the Spanish telecommunications provider Telefonica, which led the portfolio for a long time, with now +17%.
But another piece of news might be even more important than the frontrunners’ performance: without exception all stocks in the portfolio developed positively, which means they show an absolute gain in value. They therefore comply with Warren Buffet’s first and foremost law: “Don’t lose money!”
Compared to the best internationally investing stock funds, the portfolio takes the sensational 14th place among more than 1,500 internationally investing stock funds.
